A könyvtáramról This collection is too big for my house. If anyone knows of a good storage in Amsterdam, please let me know.
A word on my tags. The first tag describes the type of object (Novel, Comix, Calendar, etc., where comix is used in the widest sense, not the physical form).
The second tag describes the physical form. Comic is the US pamphlet, Softcover is the European sized books, mini are self-published (usually A5) pamphlets and Paperback and Hardcover can have any size imaginable.
The rest of the tags describe genre, location in storage (Doos xx) and/or series.
A special tag is for Wordless comix books, a special interest of mine.

I've been trying to find more English language translations of Moebius' work. Unfortunately, the vast majority of it is out of print. And expensive!
Hi, Paul--Just answered you in Comics with a new link to a post.
Hi, thanks for the good questions. I'll answer soon and let you know I've posted.

I spoke too soon. Kinokuniya has it. Bravo. Bra-vo. I'll certainly pick it up as soon as I get the chance.
I will try and look for With the Light Vol. 2, I was previously aware of it, but I cannot find it in my local Kinokuniya bookshop in the city.
I just went to Paul's Comic Page. "The Speech". . . is this your cartoon? It fabulous. Love the style.
Hi, I studied in China and fell in love with the art of the countryfolk, the paper cuts, the New Year Prints. I try to destryoy the 3rd dimension as developed in the West and go for the 2-dimensional aspect. I am just about to begin work on the graphic novel, all in black and white. It took me 11 years to write the manuscript and to sell it. I do read French with the help of a dictionary but it's very hard to get French graphic novels, even on Canadian Amazon.com.

Good to hear from you earlier about the wordless novels. Still mad in love with Masereel. And he is very 2-dimensional tho' in his architecture he does push the 3rd dimension.
sad to hear that a comics publisher went belly up.

hello paul

i have just seen that you have "Yiu, 01: In de hel" and more, but you listed it under J.M. Vee. Is he the author? The information that I have lists him as cowriter. ( http://www.splitter-verlag.de/product_in... ).
If you have better information please tell me so we came combine our issues.

I have been collecting manga and comics since the mid-90s, so it has taken a while to reach the current levels. I even have individual manga issues from the period before Tokyopop made the graphic novel version so popular and "affordable."

Until last year I was able to store it all in the house: my bedroom is basically all bookshelves and I've turned a small bedroom into the library, but there are still piles of books on the floor. I have a small climate-controlled storage room at a local place because I can't bear to part with any of my books. I use manga boxes for the overflow and finished series and then move them over to storage after a month or two.

Members docierias, sdoerfler and swanjun also have interesting libraries.
Hello Papiervisje

I have noticed that you have Jason Lutes "Berlin" Books, can you tell me how far the story is in your last issue?
I have only the Drawn&Quarterly Paperback that ends with the year 1929.
Have you seen a second Paperbackissue?

Hello sir,
What an impressive collection you have! I share with you the penchant for wordless comics, but I am afraid it would be difficult for me to recommend anything you don't already own. I suppose the magazines "World War 3" and "Nozone" published their share of wordless comics, at least judging by what we own. Kristine Kryttre's work is largely wordless, as far as I recall. Molly Goldbloom is amazing, but good luck finding her work. My personal favorite in this category is the work of the Elvis Studio, but you already know about them.
All the best,
KT
