RólamI'm something like a geologist/geophysicists and was thirty before I discovered Dostoyevsky, John Graves, poetry and much other good literature. I think my deepest interest is in literature about place, especially if there is a geological tilt. But I like a large spectrum of book types, although what I like the most seems to change frequently.

Hello Daniel,

I don't remember for sure why I marked your library as interesting; I was just sort of exploring at random, yesterday. It may have been Thinking With Type, though – it doesn't seem to be in too many libraries.

I'm still figuring out what the best way to catalog my books/reading is; I'm mostly comparing with Goodreads at this point. Hopefully I'll spend more time reading and less time on book-web-sites, though!

You are very welcome.

I've added many of your books to my tbr pile!

Congratulations on your hot review listed on today's home page!
I think [Hate that Cat] and the book that comes before it [Love that Dog] might take some growing into for a 5 year old. 7 or 8 might be more appropriate, starting to read chapter books? and that's as much for content as reading level. I think some of the poetry appreciation / learning about poetry that the author is trying to put into the book would be lost on someone that young. Many of the poems that Jack is writing follow the format of poems written by other famous authors. He writes a poem in the style of a Walter Dean Myers poem, or in the style of a TS Eliot poem. Happy reading!!
