I've read the whole cannibal series by Thomas Harris - the first one doens't have much of Hannibal in it but it is still a good serial killer book. My favorite is Hannibal which describes his past, how and why he became a cannibal and why he is so drawn to Clarice. The ending was a little cheesy - but I liked it. Very different from how the movie ends.
