A könyvtáramról A selection of reference books from my (recent) days as an architecture student; non-fiction spanning a number of interests including history, development and globalisation, and what makes humans tick; a smattering of fiction that sort of defies classification. That pretty much sums up my library for now.

My physical library is small, and getting smaller as I'm preparing for nomadic existence (moving to England for grad school in the fall and planning a career in development practice.) My appetite for good books, however, isn't. So, I'm maintaining a sizable collection tagged "wishlist," "readnotowned" and so on until LT rolls out the much-awaited collections/sets feature.

Monarchi--

Just came across your library -- I'm originally from Chicago and share some
books with you as well as the Feminist Group. This may not be the best time to suggest book titles to you since you are moving and I take it you are getting rid of some, but I thought you might be interested in the following books on women and design:

1. Building Domestic Liberty: Charlotte Perkins Gilman's Architectural Feminism

2. New Households New Housing (check my library for a more complete citation)

You have a fascinating collection. Did anyone suggest you set up an account on BookMooch to send out your books? That way you would get points to use in the future (after your move if you like) to get books you do want. Just an idea to throw out there. Enjoy your books and your plans.

Thanks for mailing so quickly. I'm out of town for a couple of days for a graduation but will mail midweek. I assume the postage will be about the same.

I have no current plans to go to Sri Lanka but plan to eventually.

Ohh, you have some really interesting looking books but you probably don't want to have to ship them to the UK! Woe! Ah well. Oxford is lovely though, I grew up there. The Norrington Room in Blackwell's on Broad Street has to be one of your first stops. So many books!

What are you doing in Oxford when you get there? Studying?
