Set in a modern high school, Ellie, a recent transplant to Maryland with her parents, both medieval historians, encounters all the characters you would expect to meet at the Round Table. A fast and fun read, as a fan of Arthurian tales, I would recommend this for the young adult. Quote: "Except.....Except that when Will’s fingers wrapped around the hilt, something seemed to…change. I reread it for a book challenge, but it had been a while anyway. Plus, the TERRIBLE Disney TV movie of the book came out last month (or so), and I wanted to dispel that awfulness with the REAL story. :P I love, love, love Will and Ellie! I remember the first time I read this book, I was like, "Ummm... Meg? That was weird!" It IS different than Meg's other books (subject matter-wise), but I like it more and more each time I read it! Fabulous book with mythological/fantastical elements! :) Previous reads I love this audiobook. The narrator is fantastic! The book is GREAT!
